Are you looking for something fun to do with your family and friends to kick off the summer while still social distancing? Get your team together and join the Y4CKC scavenger hunt from the City Market to the Crossroads Arts District to raise funds for Youth 4 Change KC – a metro youth advisory board that raises awareness of youth homelessness.
June 5th, 2021 - 12:30p-4:00p
Starting location: City Market Park, 305 Main St, KCMO 64105
$60 per team - up to 6 participants per team
The scavenger hunt takes place along the KC Street Car line from the City Market to the Crossroads Arts District.
Top 3 teams will get prizes!
How it Works:
Teams will earn points for finding the most places and receive bonus points for finding other things along the journey.
Teams: this event is designed with social distancing and pandemic precautions in mind. Teams are limited to 6 people per team and we strongly suggest only teaming up with immediate family members or people in your immediate circle. Have fun for a good cause!
Note:
Wear comfortable shoes, and wear masks so you’re ready to explore! The event will start at City Market Park where you will receive your list of clues. Starting anywhere on the scavenger hunt map, your team will find an outdoor statue, iconic building, mural, or other location and take a group selfie in front of it. Email your pictures for submission before the event ends at 4pm.
All proceeds of this fundraiser will be used to fund Youth 4 Change KC expenses including youth stipends, food for youth meetings, youth t-shirts, and youth transportation.
