The History of reStart
reStart, Inc. began in 1981 as an overnight emergency shelter in downtown Kansas City and has grown into one of the region’s largest homeless service providers.
With over 45 years of service in the Kansas City area, reStart has become a community leader advocating for and modeling best practices for permanently ending homelessness.
